Skin created by HBPencil with the template available from the Rise of Flight online forum.

One skin of FE2b, A5663, 'Pepps' of No. 100 Squadron, which was a specialist night bombing unit. As there is no
known photo of this aircraft this skin is based on a written description.

This aircraft was flown by 2nd Lieutenant Alfred Reginald 'Reggie' Kingsford in 1918 along with observers such as
Huw Edwardes-Evans and Sidney Bourne. Born and raised in England, Kingsford had emigrated to New Zealand via
Australia before the war where he worked as a photographer before signing up and serving with the New Zealand
Medical Corps, then transfering to the RFC. Initially serving with No.33 (Home Defence) Squadron during the
second half of 1917 in the frustrating and unrewarding role of trying to intercept Zepplins while flying the FE2b,
Kingsford transfered to No. 100 Squadron in early 1918. Upon being issued A5663 he applied the name 'Pepps'
with a stick as he didn't have a brush at the time, 'Pepps' being the nickname of his wife Charlotte Pepperdine.

Happy flying!
